Governor’s Band To Play Again
Even before he was Mayor of Baltimore, Martin O’Malley was the lead singer of a band called O’Malley’s March.
Their sound is definitely influenced by Irish music, and the best genre I can think to put them in is “folk rock.”
So if you like folk rock, Irish music, drinking, or you just want to see the governor sing and play the guitar, O’Malley’s March is performing a rare concert on December 29th at Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis.
They will be performing twice: once at 6:30pm and again at 9:00pm.

Newt’s “Path to Legality” would benefit few, Pew finds
Perhaps you’ve heard of Newt Gingrich’s plan for illegal immigrants to become legal. Apparently, it wouldn’t help that many people, as the requirements are so specific that only a handful of immigrants are even eligible.
